Appointments and cancellation

Appointments are reserved for you specifically. Changes and cancellations require at least 12 hours' notice; inside 12 hours the session is charged in full. Arriving late shortens the session rather than extending it.

Scope of service

Massage and bodywork provided here are for relaxation and musculoskeletal wellbeing. They are not medical care, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for treatment by a physician. Tell your therapist about injuries, medication, pregnancy or skin conditions at intake. We reserve the right to decline or end a session where continuing would be unsafe or inappropriate, and any behaviour of a sexual nature ends the session immediately and permanently.

Treatment room rental

Rental of the treatment room is available only to practitioners holding a current New York State licence for the modality practised, plus professional liability insurance in their own name. Renters are independent practitioners; they are not our employees or agents, they are solely responsible for their own clients, records, scope of practice and compliance, and they indemnify us against claims arising from their work. Prohibited equipment and services are listed on the rental pages. Rental bookings follow the same 12-hour cancellation policy.

Payment

Sessions and rental blocks are paid through our scheduling system at the time of booking unless invoicing has been agreed in writing.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New York law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the session or block in question. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
